The only thing was they did not do my room at all the next day. They have a Starbucks downstairs and also their Restaurant is ok for emergency food. Just be careful when is raining as the floor are very slippery when wet. You can tell the Hotel is old and needs a little clean up. I usually not a fan of Hotel bars, but the Sheraton M I has one of the best Mariachis in Mexico City. IT's located right across Zona Rosa and close to many bars and Restaurants. I stayed here loooooong time ago when I used to work for American Airlines. For the time being, I'm planning not to go back Management should seriously consider improving the whole infrastructure and service immediately. It is sincerely embarrassing to experience such lack of hygiene and service when you are tied up in business meetings and tight schedule.

I was transferred a second time to another room where I finally settled until I took off. I asked the general manager to come to my room to show the whole thing and nobody showed up. I'm a business traveller and used to stay in that hotel several times per year, so I thought it was a real upgrade (not a marketing scam) After I was assigned to another room, the AC unit was also non operational and I woke up with a dead cockroach by my bed (see picture).

The funny thing here is that the staff at the front desk told me that I was 'upgraded' to that room. the AC unit in the room did not work and the room itself smelled like moisture and it was very outdated. I was assigned a room in the 'Classic' section of the Hotel.
